New Year. New Logo. Same Awesome League!
Hello ball hockey families.
Today we’re thrilled to announce an exciting change for the Greater Victoria Minor Ball Hockey Association (GVMBHA) with the launch of our new Victoria Vipers branding.
That’s right: as we prepare for our 2024 season, we are rebranding all our teams as the Victoria Vipers! The GVMBHA remains the operating body for Victoria’s premier minor ball hockey league. But our website has been updated at www.victoriavipers.ca and you will see the name and a very cool new logo reflected in our Instagram and Facebook profiles. Watch for a preview of new jerseys before the start of the season as well.
CONTEST ALERT: Every player registered for the 2024 Spring Season by January 15 will be entered to win some new Vipers branded merchandise!
Vipers has been the team name for our Western Challenge Cup (WCC) teams for many years, and that won’t change. The signature white and purple jerseys will continue to be reserved exclusively for WCC teams. But we’re excited to expand the Vipers brand across all our GVMBHA teams. A lot of folks have played a part in building this amazing league over the years, and we’re grateful to them for all their commitment and dedication. Keeping and expanding the Vipers brand is one way we’re honouring that proud legacy while setting up the league for an exciting future. Gooooo Vipers!
